Watch our Giving Back Month videos to find out more about why you should get involved and the difference you will make.

Giving back has always been at the heart of a Wellington education. From the College’s very foundation—built on service and philanthropy—to the thriving co-curricular programme today, Wellingtonians are encouraged to make a difference.

4 of our PAF Scholars talk about the importance of the programme and the Ripple Effect it has had not only on their lives but those around them after leaving College.

PAF OW, Will Hobson (S 21), talks about how the PAF programme was able to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional rugby player.

Simon Massie-Taylor (Bn 99), a former Foundationer reflects on how the PAF programme has become a much more inclusive and wide-reaching initiative than the original Foundationer programme with its military connection. He speaks about the remarkable diversity of today’s PAF Scholars, the inspiring individuals who have come through the programme, and how their achievements highlight the power and importance of widening access.

PAF OW, James Brown (Hg 20), talks about the idea of Giving Back and how Wellington instilled in him the importance of making a difference.

Gemma Warrillow, a PAF Ambassador reflects on the powerful impact PAF Scholars have on the wider student body—and how their presence enriches College life for everyone.
